This guide provides a step-by-step process for customizing the author information and descriptions for blog posts on your Shopify homepage using metaobjects. Customize Blog Post Author and Description on Shopify Homepage (Metaobject)
1. In your Shopify dashboard - Click "Online Store"
2. Click "Customize"
3. On the "Home page" dropdown, find 'Blog posts'
4. Click "Blog posts"
5. Click "Default blogposts" or any blogpost template you have created.
6. Now add a section for your author information.
7. Click "Image with text"
8. Click the 'Image with text' section
9. And now you can start adding your metaobject information - in the 'Image' and click on the dynamic button (the hamburger/3 lines)
10. Now all your metafields and metaobjects will pop up.
11. Click "Metaobjects"
12. Click "Author" or your metaobject you created.
13. Click "Veronica Jeans" or your author name
14. Only the correct metafield will be available to add. Click "Image"
15. Now adjust your image to what you want.
16. Click here to the main 'Image with text' section.
17. Click on the 'Heading' block.
18. Click here to add your metafields.
19. Click "Name"
20. now move back to the 'Image and text' section
21. Click the 'Text' block
22. Click on the dynamic button.
23. Click "Description" and add the author information
24. Click here to move back to the 'Image and text' section. Now your author information will be added to all the blogs.
